Title I
Title I is a federally funded program that provides funding to Hosack, McKnight, and Peebles Elementary for use in developing and delivering reading support services in Grades 1 & 2. Small group instruction ensures that each student can receive the help and individual attention needed for successful development of reading skills and strategies. Research-based instruction is provided by a certified reading specialist, and a student’s progress is evaluated formally three times a year in the fall, winter, and spring. Informal evaluations are ongoing.
